The USA - American Values

What is it about America that is American?

Viewpoints:
1. Are these values uniquely American, or do they apply to other countries as well?
- These values are not just uniquely in America. They do apply to other countries as well because it is values people need to survive in this world.

3. How do you view America? How does the Norwegian media present Americans?
- In Norway`s media we often hear that America is an unjust country, we hear that police officers shoot innocent people. They are violent and steals. We also hear about kidnapping.

5. What are the values you find important? Why?
- All the values in the text i find important. Everybody needs democracy, the people need to have the power to decide. This gives them freedom, that basicly is life itself.
Justice is also important because that gives the people the same rights in public and in a court.
To be hospitality is also really important because it makes the people feel accepted in the world. Being able to go wherever and whenever one wants is also essential for a person. Last but not least i find love imortant, because in my opinion we need love to survive. Love gives us happiness when nothing else does.

6. Where do your values come from?
- My values come from everything around me, family and friends for instant.
